to bride to be, sila le ke url ini.....nanti kowang bole main design-design baju kawen cam nie....

this is how my design turned out....

isk...kalo la saya sekurus ini...hurmmm....i always wanted bustier on the front, corset tying at the back with the mermaid style dress...owh so in lurveeee wif it.....

tetibe rasa cam nak pegi amik gamba berangan pakai dress....tp.............apekan daya....we have to put a side money for mak's medical needs which cost RM1k a month....

Wedding DO's & DON'Ts....

Actually, i wanted to post this before my wed....tp cam terlupe....hahahaha.....so, i just post it now tuk bacaan Nad....cik bakal pengantin......


WEDDING DO's

1. Do make your wedding a joint venture between bride and groom. Some grooms just want to know what to wear and where and when to show up. Some brides want to call all the shots and make all the decisions. Make your decisions together - you will be doing this for the rest of your lives and this is a good place to start.

2. Do get everything that can get done in advance done as far in advance as you can. You don't want to discover the day before your wedding that you have forgotten to get your marriage license or that your dress isn't ready.

3. Though da wedding day is ur day and u have dream it for so long...BUT, always discuss ur concept with the vendor....coz ur dream wedding (etc colour and concept) might not suite you..the vendor is the expert..they have been doing it for so many years...it's their bread an butter.....open ur eyes, ear, heart and mind....dun be so stubborn and cocky just because u pay them....

4. Do let your ceremony reflect who you are as individuals and who you are as a couple. This can be done with the music, readings, vows and other personal stories and selections you make.

5. Always discuss and having at least monthly meeting with your family & frens....1 month towards your wedding day, make the meeting weekly....to keep everyone update and this is the time for you to reminf each others.....

6. Do delegate, delegate, delegate. Let other's help so when the week of the wedding arrives you have time to enjoy your guests and not arrive at your own wedding too tired to enjoy it.

7. For Muslims, if possible...do Solat Hajat to wish for the smoothness of your wedding reception...wish that all da guest are satisfied with food and leaving the reception with pleasant...doa semoga majlis tersebut dirahmati dan diberkati....ask your family to do it as well.....after all, kita hanya merancang, Allah yang tentukan.....

WEDDING DON'Ts

1. Don't think you have to spend more money on a wedding than it would cost you for a college education or a new house. Some of the most beautiful and meaningful ceremonies are in someone's back yard. It isn't about how much money you spend but about the love between you. Think about how you can avoid going into your marriage on the edge of bankruptcy.

2. Don't be shy about speaking up for yourselves. This is your wedding. Just because Aunt somebody-or-other had her bridesmaids in dresses that looked like those in My Big Fat Greek Wedding doesn't mean you have to do the same. Or because Uncle I-think-I-can-sing-but-can't wants to sing doesn't mean you have to let him. Tell them how much you love them and thank each of them for their wonderful offer with a gentle statement that you've already chosen the dresses and planned the music (or whatever)...

3. Don't Procrastinate. If you want a disaster the day before and the day of the wedding, just put things off. The more organized you are and the better you have delegated those "last minute" things, the more you will be able to participate in and enjoy wedding day.

4. Don't have unrealistic expectations about having everything perfect. Beautiful? Yes. Perfect is harder. Remember that this is a joyful celebration of love rather than an exercise in perfection. Most of us are not "practically perfect in every way" like Mary Poppins and we make mistakes. The mistake is generally the thing that gives you the fondest memories....

Laaa...How Could I Forgot....

laaa......after buying, preparing and listing all the things needed, and to do towards and on my wedding day....one most important thing i have forgotten......

SHOES!!!!!

mine and encik tunang's shoes to be worn on our wedding day....itu bole lupe...smlm masa aku dok tgk blog org, dia ade satu posting tuh bout shoes she wanted to wear on her wedding day, then only it trigger in my head that, WE HAVEN'T BOUGHT shoes for me and encik tunang....

how could i have forgotten the most essential thing....so yesterday we went for shoe hunting at Sunway Pyramid....we only managed to buy da groom's shoes.....itu pun beli bata jerk...coz nak pakai one time only.....and me, headed to Vincci, but none come to my interest....so pegi charles & keith...one found one shoes that is so damn gorgeous....tp mahal le pulok kan?? RM200.00 kay...and it's not even leather....

so today, went for shoe hunting lagik kat OU during lunch....and found this lovely shoes at Vincci....clearly Vincci in Sunway have not much choices compared to one in OU.....it's simple yet classy...my mak andam said, "xyah beli yg cantek2...nnt kasut tuh tenggelam sbb amy nnt dah cantek"...huhuhuhu....true, true, true...ckp ipin dlm Upin& Ipin kat disney Channel....and the shoes is to be worn during akad nikah, which it will be left outside of the mosque...huhuhuh...kalo amik gamba kat luar semejid jerk baru pakai kasut tuh...and this is the shoe...dpt 20% discount...

Less than a month to go

yup...another 29 days to go...

bese le most of bride-to-be ade their wedding blog...
so when i browsing through some of their blog, then i saw this interesting thing...i'm not sure from whose blog...i just copy da pic...soo sowwy sbb main amek jer ur pic....

slalunyer we will see counter for guest book signing...then macam jaja, she wanted to have wall of fame...but this idea is kinda cute....she set up a counter, then at da counter there was a bunch of papers and pens...it's for the guest to take, and to write a wish to the bride & groom or to the bride's family...it looks kinda like this...


so maybe some of da guest who came, but didn't get the chance to speak to the bride & groom, almaklumle pengantin kan sebuk...and ramai yg akan kerumun derang...so da guest can write something on this...a wish or a comment....hope there won't be any comment la...huhuhuhu...

CARDS!!!

YEAY!!!!

smlm sudah amik card kawen.....we were supposed to have a butterfly on it...tp sudah cancel coz mak said xnak ade makhluk hidup...naseb baek mak tak suruh tukar da whole card...rather than having a butterfly, boh flowers....

but actually, i loike that there were no butterfly on da card...which i was not very keen coz my card is in pink...but da butterfly is in maroon...owh...sgt tak santek....sooooooo, masa balik ipoh itu hari, i bought ribbons in pink....so, i tied it up and pasted it at da corner of my card...nampak cam seri and cute ckit le....taaapppppiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, knowing peah yang sgt hangat2 tahi ayam....rasanya cam separuh jerk card being distributed yg akan ade ribbon....huhu....
selebihnya adalah MALAS...!!!

so skang bole distribute2 card....besh...besh...besh....

AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Another 1 month and 10 days to go....or another 40 days to go......bulan depan jerk lagik....huwaarrgghhhh!!!!!! mari menjerit beramai-ramai.....

nervous, scared, anxious, butterflies in my stomach and wut ever feelings that Allah have created....

nak pikir takut, xnak pikir pun takut....bile pikir, rasa cam semua dah buat....bile pikir lagik, rasa cam apah pun xbuat lagik....mmg macam nie ker rasenyer??okay focus...amiriah focus....
a few days focus sudah lari sbb over excited bout our new married house...sebok gi cuci rumah le...beli2 barang le...have wasted lotsa time and money...coz at first plan nak beli barang rumah pakai credit card...tp credit card blum dpt...yes gurls, i don't have a credit card....so guna cash...then after bought everything, baru terpikir nape tak guna duit bakal Encik suami???hurrmmm.....tersengal seketika...

this weekend i'm going back to ipoh...nak jumpe abang nana da photographer to discuss bout da package and da pricing...nak pujuk mintak discount...nak beli paper bag for VIP...then nak tanya mak bole tak kalo nak buat corsage guna fresh flower (video on how to make the freh flower corsage) ?? pastuh nak bincang and deligates roles & responsibalities of family members on da big day...and nak bincang invitation list of family....
since mak terlampau bising that i wanted to invite my friends, so i decided to take only 100 copies of da wedding invitation card and da rest is for mak to be distributed to families....

so as usual, wedding is kenduri for ur parent's friend and families....not so for da bride's and groom's frens.....

okay...nak balik dah...nak gi KL Central beli tiket balik ipoh this weekend....

Done, Done & Done

Last week went back to Ipoh to settle a lot of things...Alhamdulillah...banyak benda dpt setel..

and ade kejadian yg sgt klaka happened masa balik ipoh...thursday is da last day for da year 1429 Hijrah...usually on new year's eve, mak-mak mesti akan masak2...and ma mom is not excluded...and kesian Encik tunang, dia asyik buang air besar je masa kat ipoh...and on dat new year's eve, we're ready to have our lunch at 3:00 pm..that's normal for our family having late lunch....semua dah ready and we already took our seat...pizi plak xturun-turun....

finally he came down...and ma mom pun ckp "haa...sape lambat dia yg kene baca doa.."..fizi pun, oklah...so dia pun tadah tangang, dengan penuh kusyuk dan tawaduk dia pun baca "Allahummaftah Alaina hikma Takawansyur Alaina Min Hozainiroh Matikaya Ar-hamarrahimin..Amin" then semua org gelak..then mak ckp, "tuh bukan doa makan"..then everybody burst into laughter...giler babing punyer gelak....then pizi dengan selamber jawap "owh..sblm mkn kita kene terangkan hati..tu sbb sy baca doa tuh".....
kesian encik tunang, u're soo funny and cute without trying too hard for it....huhu

wah...banyak gak mende yg dpt disetel...since my mak andam is in Taiping, so while waiting for our appoinment, me and encik Tunang pun berdating di Taman Tasik Taiping yg sangat Romantik tuh sambil mengambil-ngambil gamba....

Encik tunang menci gamba nie sbb dia kt muka dia cam nak meletup..muahahaha

Muka Pizi cam pelik..huhu....aku plak cam bajet cute....

da scenary is soo wonderfull...planning to have da outdoor shooting here...on that day itself, kat our side nie ade 4 couples yg amik gamba wedding...how do i noe it's a wedding photo??coz they're wearing baju kawen la...

Finally I've Registered...

planned to went back to ipoh on wed evening....tp tgh hari tuh abg call...
Abang : balik ipoh kol bape?
Me : ptg ckit le..tggu cuaca redup
Abang : kamu balik ngan sape?
Me : sorang le...tp kang singgah sungai buloh amik bebdk tuh (my cousins)
Abang : pizi tak ikut?
Me : nape nak ikut plak. Pejabat Agama kata pengantin laki takde pun takpe
Abang : xde le..kalo bole pizi kene gak jumpe kadi. kadi nak intebiu..kalo tak jumpe skang, time nikah baru nak jumpe, nnt nikah lama...sbb kadi nak intebiu and tanya memacam.
Me : leee....nape abg tak ckp awal2? pizi keje nie. nnt amy call dia try tanya

soo, i straight away call encik tunang...soh dia amik cuti sok (khamis)...dia ckp nnt dia chck ngan siti...then dia tanya, "kalo i tak ikut bole?"...as usual, dia mmg berat ckit kalo nak ikut aku balik ipoh...then i replied "bole gak, kalo camtuh kita tangguh jele wedding. nak?"...so dia pun mengalah....

instead of balik rabu ptg, rabu mlm pukul 9 baru gerak balik ipoh....ptg tuh i dah called kadi to set appoinment..at first he said after asar....gile nie, nnt mana sempat nak gi pejabat agama..."awal ckit bole tak ustaz?"..."pukul 8:30 pagi le kalo camtuh"...he sounds soo garang on da phone...nak tanya lebey2 pun aku takut....

sampai ipoh at around 12 something....pizi tido surau wif Man & Bee (My counsins)...usually guest will stay in my room...tp sbb mak suasa (Kak sal's Mom) is staying wif us...so guys tido surau, ladies tido in my room....da next day, i called abg first thing when i woke up...and he sounds suara-org-tersedar-bile-telefon-berbunyi..."abang nak dtg pukul bape?".."kol 8 abg dtg"..so me and encik tunang siap le...then abg sms...abang dtg pukul 8:30. kita pegi dlm pkl 9..isk...abang aku nie..kan dah janji dgn kadi...so i called kadi to reschedule..."kol 9 bole la.tp sblm 9:30. sbb pukul 10:00 saya nak nikahkan org"...

so cepat2 le pegi carik rumah kadi..kadi nie dok manjoi..manjoi is actually kawasan kampung dlm bandar..mcm kampung baru le..and kalo rumah kampung nie, typically nombor and susunan rumah berterabur...and umah kadi nie tak terkecuali...so called kadi tanya..
Me : Ustaz, saya dah ade dpn surau nie. surau belah kiri saya. rumah ustaz yang mana satu ye?
Kadi : awak jalan terus, nanti jumpe simpang empat awak masuk kiri..rumah saya yg pertama sblh kanan

carik2 punyer carik tak jumpe pun simpang empat...so kitowang patah balik...tetibe dah masuk kawasan lain...call kadi balik...
Me : Ustaz, saya kat dpn Al-Baraqah nie
Kadi : Nape awak pegi situ. kan tu dah patah balik. tadi awak kata awak kat dpn surau. jalan je terus sampai simpang 4, rumah saya yg pertama.
Isk...takut dah...suara dah le cam garang...

so kitowang patah balik..tetibe nampak satu rumah kaler hijau and ade org tua melambai....ruuupeeenyerrrr........SIMPANG TIGA...bukan simpang 4...isk ustaz nie...masuk jerk abang ckp..."laa ustaz, nape tak ckp rumah ustaz kaler hijau. and ade gambar Nizar yang besar kat dpn?" (Nizar is the controversiol PAS MB of Perak which was withdrawed from the position)...Kadi jawap "saya taknak sebut.takut ade org sensitip." and, dan dan kitowang jawap "tak sensitip le"....huhuhu...belakon sat...pas kawen nnt baru ngaku...

pas gi umah kadi, gi pejabat agama bawak semua doc tuh....kecik jerk pejabat agama perak nie rupenyer...hanta borang, baya RM5...settle....in one week time, doc semua siap, kadi gi amik...then KAWEN!!!!

just got off the phone with Jabatan Agama Islam Perak (JAIP) asking bout procedures and process....first thing first....

1. Sijil Kursus Kahwen ---> done and graduated wif flying colours.....


2. Surat akuan bujang for groom.... ---> Encik tunang dah dpt dr HR


3. Surat kebenaran kahwin luar kawasan for groom ---> En. tunang to find out nak buat kat Subang or Seromban


4. HIV test ---> must do by next week. tgh nak tgk jadual Klinik Kesihatan

Once all of the above have completed, then i can proceed to my task....

5. Prepare the decease cert of my father ---> mintak kat mak


6. Isi borang 2 (Permohonan untuk kebenaran kahwin bagi perempuan)--->downloaded from JAIP's official website.


7. Isi Borang 2A (Perwakilan Wakalah) --->also downloaded from JAIP's web for my big bro to fill since my father had passed away....

*nasib baek la JAIP ade website..huhu...senang aku...

8. Attached all the forms and meet Ustaz Md Anjang (012-571 8046 or 05-526 4973) @ Jalan Pemimpin which is kadi for my area...


9. Once kadi have been notified and signed, go to JAIP wif my En Tunang and big bro....


10. getting ready for the wed...yehaa...

panjang gak process and procedure tuh...phew..

wah my to do list is much longer compared to the done list...it's just another 100 days...damn la...wut to do...wut to do....
